What We Do

There is no one solution to addressing poverty, injustice, and marginalization because their underlying causes are complex and interconnected.
That is why FH has a holistic approach to development that:
- Is guided by faith-based values to restore broken relationships with God, self, others, and nature
- Facilitates partnerships with communities and public and private sectors towards innovative and far-reaching solutions
- Identifies and builds up strengths, skills, and systems of support through long-lasting relationships to advance community well-being and resilience
It is only when everyone’s ideas are on the table can the People We Serve have the agency to make their own decisions based on what is best for their needs, how they can best implement change, and what resources are available so that programs and projects produce enduring and effective impact.
Productive Learning
FH’s education programs encourage life-long learning to equip Filipinos with functional literacy and skills to help them succeed in life and become productive citizens.

Physical and Mental Well-Being
FH aims to restore and maintain quality health through life stages by helping improve knowledge, attitudes, and practices in over-all health and nutrition.

Asset Creation
FH supports vulnerable households in their journey to economic self-sufficiency and resilience through efforts focused on adequate food consumption, livelihoods, and local governance.

Community Engagement and Sponsorship Program
CESP complements FH’s initiatives by supporting children and families with Values Formation, spiritual development, and activities that touch on crosscutting themes such as child protection and gender equity.

Emergency Response
FH mobilizes to provide life-saving relief in natural or man-made crises with the help of partners. Find out how you can help!

Transforming Communities Together
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
Communities are transformed when there is trust.
By opening and bridging opportunities, we help every community realize its God-given potential.
Let’s end poverty together!
